Patricia Norris, M.S.W., M.Ed., provides individual therapy to ages 14 and older as well as couples therapy. Her clinical interests include depressive disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma/ PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship building, identity development, body image, and life transitions and adjustments.


Patricia strives to cultivate a safe and non-judgmental environment to foster a collaborative therapeutic relationship with her clients. She believes in a strengths-based approach that empowers clients on their unique journey of self-healing and self-discovery. She works with clients on developing skills and strategies that can propel them forward into the future with confidence and resilience.


Her perspective is client-centered, and she believes in personalizing therapy with a holistic and integrated approach. She draws from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, a variety of trauma informed therapies, a variety of relationship-focused therapies, and Mindfulness practices.


Patricia earned her M.Ed. from Harvard University and her M.S.W. from Boston College. She has a B.A. in Psychology and English from Dartmouth College. She previously worked in an in-patient psychiatric program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
